Get your holiday shopping done early this year, and support local artists and the community in the process at the Mohawk Community Art Faire, November 27th to 28th at the Graeagle Fire Hall. Warm yourself with a hot beverage while you peruse the great selection of local arts, including jewelry, textiles, metal and wood works, paintings, knit and crochet, photography, crafts, and more. Refreshments will be served, and each artist donates one piece of their work to be raffled off, with all proceeds benefiting MCRC. Formerly hosted by the Mohawk Valley Artists Guild, the fair has been a holiday tradition for more than 30 years. For more information call MCRC at (530) 836-0446, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the PRS website at www.plumasruralservices.org. Doors open on Friday from 10am to 4pm, and Saturday, from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free.
